Terms & Conditions - Photography Tours and Workshops with Andrija Ilic Images

Booking & Payment

Once we agree on the date and your participation, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total price is required to confirm your booking. Your place is not secured until the deposit has been received.
The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before the tour start date. If payment is not received by this time, your booking may be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.
For bookings made within 30 days of the tour start date, the full amount is required at the time of booking.
Payments are made through a secure online link, where you can choose your preferred method (credit card, etc.).
To make things easier, you can pay in your local currency. My payment provider will automatically convert the payment into Danish kroner (DKK).

Cancellations & Refunds

The 25% deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
If you cancel your booking before the final balance is due (more than 30 days before the tour start date), you will forfeit only the deposit.
Once the full payment is made (30 days before the tour start date), cancellations are no longer possible. However, I can offer you the option to reschedule your tour or provide a credit/voucher to use towards a future tour.
If I must cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances (such as weather, safety concerns, or insufficient participants), you will receive a full refund of all payments made, as well as the option to reschedule or join a future tour. I will always do my best to notify you and cancel in good time, as soon as I know cancellation is necessary.
Please note: I cannot be held responsible for any additional costs you may incur related to your booking, such as flights, accommodation, or other travel expenses. For this reason, I strongly recommend arranging travel insurance that covers cancellations and unforeseen disruptions.

Weather & Itinerary Changes

The Faroe Islands are known for their unpredictable weather conditions, and safety always comes first.
For this reason, I reserve the right to modify the itinerary at any time. This may include adjusting the schedule, visiting alternative locations, or changing activities if necessary.
Such changes will always be made with the aim of ensuring safety and the best possible photographic opportunities.
No refunds will be issued due to itinerary changes caused by weather, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond my control.

What’s Included / Not Included

Included:

Professional guiding.
One-on-one photography instruction.
Providing access to the best possible photography opportunities during the tour.

Not included:

Transportation.
Accommodation.
Ferry tickets.
Hiking fees.
Meals and drinks.
Flights to and from the Faroe Islands.
Travel, medical, or equipment insurance.
Personal expenses.

Insurance & Participant Responsibilities

All participants are required to have valid travel and medical insurance that covers trip cancellations, accidents, medical treatment, and emergency evacuation.
It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that their photography equipment is adequately insured against theft, loss, or damage. We are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage of photography equipment or other personal belongings.
Participants must be in reasonable physical condition and prepared for outdoor activities, which may include walking or hiking in uneven terrain and unpredictable weather conditions. You must inform me in advance of any pre-existing medical or physical conditions that may affect your ability to safely participate. I am not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or health-related issues (including slips, falls, or broken bones) that may occur during the tour.
Each participant is responsible for carrying their own equipment and personal items during the tour.
For safety reasons, all participants are expected to follow the instructions of the guide at all times. Failure to do so may result in removal from the tour without refund.
All participants are also required to treat fellow participants and the guide with respect. Harassment, bullying, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the tour without refund.

Liability Disclaimer

Participation in the tour is entirely at your own risk. By booking, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of outdoor activities in the Faroe Islands, including but not limited to unpredictable weather, rough terrain, travel delays, and natural hazards.
Andrija Ilic Images and its representatives are not liable for:
- Any personal injury, accidents, illness, or death.
- Loss, theft, or damage of photography equipment or personal belongings.
- Delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by weather, natural events, strikes, or other circumstances beyond our control.
I do not provide medical or health coverage of any kind. Participants are solely responsible for arranging their own travel, medical, and equipment insurance.
By joining the tour, you confirm that you understand these risks and agree that Andrija Ilic Images cannot be held responsible for any claims, damages, or expenses arising from participation.
While these disclaimers are necessary, please note that I am committed to doing everything possible to ensure your safety, comfort, and enjoyment throughout the tour.

Photography and Videography Policies

You retain full copyright and ownership of all photographs and videos you take during the tour.
I may take behind-the-scenes photos or short video clips during the tour for promotional purposes (website, social media, marketing materials). If you do not wish to appear in such materials, please let me know in advance.
Any photographs, videos, or promotional materials created by Andrija Ilic Images remain the intellectual property of Andrija Ilic and may not be used, reproduced, or distributed without permission.

I respect your privacy and handle your personal data with care.
Your personal information, including email addresses, phone numbers, and contact details, will never be shared or sold to third parties.
Any data collected during the booking process will only be used for purposes directly related to your participation in the tour and for essential communication.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Faroe Islands. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Faroe Islands
